planet, hand made of the finest ultra light oil Herman oak leather,
silver and steel. Saddle is 16" close contact with Sergeant's
exclusive Cheyenne tooling and silver over antiqued steel accents.
Full cantle, pommel, gullet, horn, corners - the works! Pre-turned
stirrups hug your legs and reduce knee strain. Deep seat with
extreme close contact.
Saddle was
purchased originally for $8500 in about 2003 and the headstall was
purchased for $700+ in 2005. Always stored in a climate controlled
room in my home, in bags. Shielded from light, dust and sun as much
as humanly possible. Seat does show very faint coloration from my
black chaps, though this does not extend to the rest of the saddle -
just the seat. These pieces show very little wear and are
ready to continue competing at the national level.
The only reason I am
considering parting with this saddle is that it measures 29" from
front to back and my new futurity horse is too short backed to carry
it comfortably.
